Meeting Jessica

We picked up Jessica, a very good friend of mine from Maine, on Monday morning for some LA sightseeing. She is in LA for a week to visit friends, guess some prices and meet up with us. We have been planning this for a couple of month and I was really looking forward to seeing her again. It has been a couple of years since we have last seen her. We had a very nice day driving around LA, visiting a few of the tourist attractions and in the evening we had good Mexican food for dinner.

We used the time to catch up, talk about the old times and what’s new and it sometimes felt like we had last seen each other a couple of weeks and not a couple of years ago. We had a really good time and it brought back some good memories! I guess this is what really good friendship is all about.

Today Jessica is at the television show “The Price is Right” and we hope she won the jackpot! We haven’t heard from her yet but we hope she is celebrating her victory!

Unfortunately Chris, who we were supposed to meet today, couldn’t make it to LA because he had to work. It would have been a blast if this would have worked out. As many of you know he is fun to have around and I would have liked the chance to hear from him about his journey throughout the US to Arizona during the summer where he is now living.

On a side note: When he left Germany after our wedding he forgot a couple of things which I have carried around the world to get back to him! But UPS or the USPS will deliver them in the coming days.
